Refer a Friend Promotion 2022 Terms and Conditions

1. The Refer a Friend promotion is open to current students who enrolled in university through Motivation Academy Ltd.
2. The participant (“Participant”) must be a current or previous student who enrolled through Motivation Academy Ltd and must refer a friend (“Friend”) in order to qualify for this promotion.
3. Employees or agencies of Motivation Academy Ltd, its group companies or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Promotion (“Promotion”) may not enter.
4. By entering the Promotion, Participants and Friends shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
5. Motivation Academy Limited reserves the right to revise and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its own discretion.
6. Each Motivation Academy Limited student will receive a unique referral link when he/she is fully registered with the Awarding Body, which can be shared with the Friend.
7. Students must send a request by email to kamila@motivationacademy.org.uk in order to receive the unique referral link.
8. To enter this Promotion, the Participant is required to provide the Friend with their unique referral link. To register for the Promotion, the Friend must complete the designated contact form available at the link provided by the Participant.
9. Entries outside of the methods outlined in these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid.
10. Rewards can only be claimed should a Friend successfully enroll in a course at one of our partner institutions.
11. There is no limit to how many Friends a Participant can refer through this promotion.
12. The Participant will receive a voucher (“Prize”) with a face value of two hundred pounds (£200) for the first referred Friend if all conditions outlined in this document are met.
13. For every subsequent referral the Participant will receive an increased voucher face value (up to a maximum of £500). The Participant will receive a voucher (“Prize”) with a face value of three hundred pounds (£300) for a second referred Friend, if all conditions outlined in this document are met.
14. The Participant will receive a voucher (“Prize”) with a face value of four hundred pounds (£400) for a third referred Friend to a university course if all conditions outlined in this document are met.
15. The Participant will receive a voucher (“Prize”) with a face value of five hundred pounds (£500) for a fourth referred Friend and any other referrals beyond this to a university course if all conditions are outlined in this document are met.
16. The prize will be issued on a one-course-per-friend basis. Students and Alumni can claim only one prize per friend referred to Motivation Academy Limited. Friends that study multiple courses at the College will not result in the Participant receiving of multiple prizes.
17. Vouchers are to be collected within 12 months of the College sending the confirmation email requesting reward collection.
18. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date administered.
19. Vouchers are redeemable exclusively at the Asda, Tesco, Amazon stores.
20. The Participant is not eligible to claim the Prize if the Friend is unable to commence or continue study on the course for any reason, such as withdrawing from the course or being expelled from the university.
21. The ‘Friend’ referred must be a new student. Referrals of existing students who enroll on Top Up programms and past enrolled students who wish to return will be deemed invalid for the Refer a Friend Promotion.
22. The Participant will not be entitled to receive a Prize if the institution has not received the first instalment of the Friend’s tuition fees.
23. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
24. The Prize will need to be send by post.
25. Should a Participant accept the Prize and subsequently seek to return it of their own volition, they will not be entitled to claim any cash or alternative discount.
26. Motivation Academy Ltd accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize (including, without limitation, travel to and from Motivation Academy Ltd.).
27. Motivation Academy Ltd retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
28. The Participant may be asked to take part in promotional activity related to the Promotion. Any request will only be actioned following explicit consent from the Participant. Consent is recorded by completing our Image and Testimonial Release form and given to the Marketing department.
29. Motivation Academy Ltd shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its GDPR Privacy Policy, GDPR Privacy Notice, Image and Testimonial Release form, and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By entering the Promotion, Participants agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of personal information in order to process and contact them about their Prize entry.
30. Motivation Academy Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by Participant as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the prize. Motivation Academy Limited further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of Motivation Academy Ltd for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
31. Motivation Academy Ltd reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Promotion with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Motivation Academy Ltd in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
32. Motivation Academy Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure iscaused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
33. The Prize Promotion will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
